The Tracy Staff met at the end of the year in June to Celebrate Tracy's AFG Successes. The Tracy staff received gift bags with items to represent each success. For example, to recognize the "Groundworks" math program, teachers received a pencil. A multicultural writing pad was provided to recognize our appreciation for diversity. To recognize our garden club, a packet of seeds was in the gift bag. The complete list of successes are listed below. Instrumental teachers who worked to acheive these goals are also listed.

1. Participation in the District Math term of the day, to increase recognition of important math terms, and to provide primary students with exposure to those terms through the Groundworks Program.

2. Gather and analyze data from district (4-Sight and district math quarterly) and state math (PSSA) assessments. Provide time for teacher directed discussion to formulate goals and action plans so that students attain mastery level within math objectives.

3. Initiation of a new standards based reading program titled Reading Street (Scott Foresman) for grade kindergarten through fourth grades, which includes a Direct Instruction Intervention Kit for grades K-2

4. The Race for Education was held to raise money for the new playground equipment.

5. There is a program for the fourth grade students to participate in morning announcements, which includes the flag salute and birthdays, Third and Fourth grade students may also participate in programs such as kindergarten helpers, peer tutors or student council.

6. Parent volunteers are part of the programs at Tracy School.

7. Tracy School exhibits a great appreciation for diversity and has developed an action plan to celebrate it.

8. School staff continues to take courses to stay abreast of developments in best educational practices.

9. School-wide and individual staff development is provided to administer and analyze DRA, Dibels and 4-Sight assessments.

10. Initiation of the Garden Club consisting of students, teachers and parents which assists in the maintenance of the grounds surrounding Tracy, specifically the courtyard area.
